Maestra: AI Piano Note Reading (“the app”) · Last updated: October 17, 2026
Maestra teaches you to read piano notes. It checks the note you play, either on the on-screen keys or on your own piano through the microphone. We built it to keep everything on your phone. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
Your practice progress (which notes you got right, your streak, the skills you have mastered) and your settings are stored only on your device. We do not have accounts, we do not upload your progress to any server, and we cannot see it. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
If you choose “My piano”, the app asks for microphone access so it can hear which note you play. The sound is analysed on your phone in real time to find the pitch. It is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere. You can switch back to the on-screen keys at any time, and you can turn the microphone off in your iPhone’s Settings.
Trill’s daily plan is built on your phone from your practice results. Where your iPhone supports Apple Intelligence, Trill’s wording and answers are written by Apple’s on-device language model. Your questions and your practice data stay on your phone and are not sent to us or to any AI service.
If you start a free trial, the app may ask to send you one reminder the day before the trial ends. You can say no, and you can turn notifications off in Settings.
Maestra Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription handled by Apple. We use RevenueCat (revenuecat.com), a subscription service, to check whether your subscription is active and to restore purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase and subscription status, and basic device and network information (such as device model, operating system version and IP address) from your device. It does not receive your name or your practice data. Apple processes your payment; we never see your payment details. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
You can delete the app to remove all practice data. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). To ask about data held by RevenueCat, contact us at the address below.
If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
